Accountant
Your role
Under the supervision of the Group Finance Director and in collaboration with the Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the complete management of the accounting side of a Métal Duquet subsidiary. You will cover both day-to-day activities (invoicing, data entry, collections) and financial closings and analyses.
Main responsibilities
Operational accounting
- Entering and verifying supplier invoices
- Issuing customer invoices and tracking collections
- Bank reconciliations, month-end adjustments
- Independent management of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
Monthly closings & analyses
- Performing month-end entries, correction entries, and accrual entries
- Prepare basic financial reports to support decision-making
- Collaborate with the analyst to enhance analyses (via Power BI, SAP Business One)
Collaboration & continuous improvement
Work closely with other departments (sales, operations, logistics) to ensure the smooth flow of information
Propose, document, and implement accounting process optimizations
